In our front garden, the one thats open to the community we really don’t like when the leaves are scattered all over. Its not that they are bad for the garden its just we want the garden to look well-kept. Don’t get us wrong though the fallen leaves are a big source of compost which is great for our soil. Which is why we transfer them from the front to our new hidden garden that resides in the side of Ella Hill not so public to the community. The leaves are a good source of compost because they carry carbon and our soil in the back is mostly nitrogen rich. We need a good mixture of both so our soil can be ready when we start planting our seedlings and flowers. As you can see in the picture above this post it shows the mixture of the soil and leaves together.
